Dutch Immigrant House

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Castrolanda colony, the “House of the Dutch Immigrant” museum was inaugurated on November 29, 1991. Furniture and household utensils from the period brought from Holland were on display, as well as several tractors and agricultural machinery in the adjoining warehouse. This building preserves part of the history of the immigration that founded the Castrolanda Colony. The museum was organized under the direction of volunteers, several of whom are still active today.

On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the Castrolanda Colony, the Castrolanda Cultural Center was inaugurated on November 30, 2016, which includes the Castrolanda Historical Museum. The collection that was in the House of the Dutch Immigrant Museum was transferred to the new building and became part of the Castrolanda Historical Museum.
